Quality
In order to provide the best prices we have formed a hybrid system based on the best brands in the industry. We use predominantly ASUS Intel or MSI motherboards. These select boards are exclusively powered by Intel Processors. Memory is provided by Crucial and Kingston DDR3. Western Digital SATA drives provide the storage needs for every dedicated server. We take all this and place it in a custom manufactured chassis to provide a dense, cool, dedicated server solution.
We Own our Servers
We own every server that we rent. didedicated.com rents collocation space in data centers. We then select premium hardware that is tailored to reliability. This focused direction towards a standard interchangeable hardware platform allows you to upgrade any server to any processor without an operating system reinstall.
Availability
Dedicated Servers are usually avaliable in about 12 to 24 hours. In some instances they can take as long as 48 hours, depending on availability. If you are in a hurry and need your server as soon as possible contact us, specify the server that you are interested in to check on it's availability.
Included Server Backup
We offer included data backup with all dedicated server packages. Receive 10 Gb of backup storage for your most important data protection. If 10Gb isn't enough you can by upgrades of 10 Gb as you need it. The backup server is accessed at lan speeds via your dedicated server. You can also access it through FTP from a remote location.
Dedicated Server Operating Systems
We offer five choices of operating systems. Windows Web Edition 2003, Windows Standard Edition 2003, Windows Web Edition 2008, Windows Standard Edition 2008, Windows 7 Home, Windows 7 Professional and the latest distribution of Fedora.
Unmanaged Hosting
This server is an unmanaged server. This means that we setup up the server and run all necessary software patches and deliver it to you ready to go. There is absolutely no support to assist you with software configuration and software / OS maintenance. If you have a problem we can hook up our KVM over IP to help you and your technical staff troubleshoot a problem. We will also allow for one OS reinstall per month which is provided to you completely free.
Payment
Payments are made using either Paypal Subscriptions or a Credit Card. Paypal subscriptions offer a convenient safe way to make regular payment on your dedicated server. You can cancel a Paypal subscription at any time by logging into your Paypal account. Whether you pay by Paypal or Credit Card, you will be billed you first months hosting fees as well as your setup fee when you sign up.
